gilluk Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 what would be your reasons for having an affair? and how long has it lasted? are you married and unhappy or single and just fell for them but why? i met my mm online got chatting and met up we hit it off that second of meeting, it was like i knew this man was the man id been waiting for, it didnt matter that he was married i just wanted him, when we were together nothing else mattered. i didnt expect it to last for 8 years and i dont know if ill see him again, all i know is that a huge hole has appeared and i feel so lost without him, is that normal, i havent been in love before so this feeling of loss is all new to me..

Got it Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I am not sure if I feel I ever needed him. Actually I told him that in the beginning that I didn't want someone to need me but to want me. We were both married when it started, I left my marriage in the beginning of the EMR, he left a year later, I am divorced and he will be any day now. Neither one of us was looking but I can say it is the most fullfilling relationship I have had. Even years later, the ho hum of life hasn't impacted us and I can't help smiling every time I see him.
