I know them both but I know the friend better. They asked if I was still with "that girl." I said no. The girl that I noticed to be attartive said..."oh it's better that way." She doesn't know that I have a thing for her. I think that she still goes to the same college as I do. If I see her how should I ask...(We know nothing of each other than our names.) A)"Hey I was wondering if we could hang out sometime...perhaps a movie or dinner?" B)"Hey would you be interesting in going on a date with me?" C)"Are you seeing anyone? Do you think that we can go out sometime?" D)"Do you think that I can get your number?" E) Your way... I don't care if she turns me down. I just want my words to come out correctly. Also I don't want her thinking that she's a rebound.

quankanne Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 DA's got a good script ... and during the conversation, casually ask, "would you like to get together for coffee/lunch/breakfast/etc. sometime? I know this place that makes this great cappuchino/glass of iced tea/pumpkin empanadas/etc." it's an open-ended, but low-key, request to get together with you and doesn't imply anything other than you enjoy spending time with her and would like to casually spend more time with her.
