In a big city, there are lots of people, which means you are just one of an inexhaustible number of options. In a small town, your options are limited, and depending on the local industries, may be lacking in education etc. In the suburbs, everyone's married. So which is the worst dating scene? For those in long-term relationships, do you live in the city, the burbs, or a small town? How did you meet your SO?

I am in a long term relationship and met my boy in a dive bar on a big night out near my place about 6 months ago. I wasnt even intending on going out that night but I have so many fun bars right near my apartment I thought I'd just pop down for a couple and BOOM. Love. Before him, I was pretty much meeting decent guys every time I went out. I wasn't interested in a relationship so just played around with a few, but it was easy enough to drop them and pick up another any night I went out so thats pretty much what I did! I grew up in a small-ish town where everyone pretty much knew everyone else and the dating scene was kinda incestuous. You could never escaper your exes, it was crap. I will never go back again.

I say in a small town is the worst. Dating pool is small and they women are really silly. And the dudes are haters.
