summerbreeze213 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 so i met this in a chat room.we hit it off.. first chat lasted for 6hrs.. we're in different time zones but we both cut back our sleep so that we could talk to each other. we were talking online nonstop for about a week, we shared from work, school we went to, things among family and friends, what we did that day ... everything, great connection. a couple days ago.. he suddenly became "busy" it has been "hey how r u ,i'm going to sleep" "i'll get back to you. i'm in the middle of something". i'm confused about what's going on..we're both single , we both have romantic interest in each other.. can anyone tell you what might've happened overnight?
Mrlonelyone Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 It might be that this guy was not single for real. He may have met someone in real life and a real life face to face connection beats online by a mile. He may have decided that sleep is more important than a connection with someone a timezone or two away. Try not to worry about it. You had a good time while you had it and that's that.
Author summerbreeze213 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 i think i've fallen for him... is that crazy.. :9
gaius Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 That's way too much interaction, one of you is going to burn out on the other. I know the attention feels good, but you are going to get bored of even the most interesting person talking that much. Give it some breathing room and if he contacts you again try and keep it to 1-2 hour blocks, take some time to do other activities.
Author summerbreeze213 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 thanks for advice. i feel like i just wanted to get to the bottom of the hot and cold treatment but dont wanna act like all crazy or too attached..
