Mixed28 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 After being in my first serious relationship with a wonderful girl who broke up with me. Being single sucks @$$. My last relationships were not that serious so when we broke up I was fine being single but now after having been with my first love it is lame being single. I don't have that warm good feeling like I had in the relationship. After being in your first good relationship and then getting dumped have you felt the same way? Also I was pi$$ed off that I have to go out and find someone I like and who likes me back. Thats a pain in the @$$. For me it takes forever to find someone I like and who likes me. So I am back in the dating pool for who knows how long.
interfuse Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) I'm sorry about your relationship not working. It happens to the best the best of us. Yes, everyone's been through it. It stinks, but you'll get a new girl again. Also, it depends how picky you are when it comes to dating women. Really, it shouldn't be that hard to find someone you like that likes you back unless you're extremely picky. I know this from experience between me and guys. Go out and be social. Join interests or clubs; do activities. Hang out with your friends, maybe you can meet someone new that way. Dating sites are another option so I recommend that as well. I suggest paid dating sites over the free ones because in my opinion I feel that those are more legit. Before you try to meet someone new again, I highly suggest you get over your ex. It sucks to date a guy who's not over their ex. Trust me, it hurts a lot and it's extremely frustrating to have to deal with a guy with baggage like that. Edited April 10, 2011 by interfuse
ladydi721 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Yeah it does suck to be back in the dating scene after being in a long relationship. First just give youself time to get over the relationship before you try to date other people because you won't give them your all. Once you feel your over it, just find nice places to hang out or join a book club or something. I'm sure it won't be that hard to find somebody you like & they also like you back.

That a problem I go to a small colege 3600 students and the vast majority are in relationships. So it is a pain.
Disillusioned Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Yes it does suck, but at least for me, it doesn't suck as much since I bought my Realdoll. When I come home from a day of herkin' it at work, my Realdoll is always receptive to hugs. When I'm enjoying the rarity of brisk cool weather, she never whines about being cold. You get the picture.
