Tasha49 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I've been with a guy from my work for a whole year now. Things have been AMAZING between us. Only problem is that he won't make us official! No commitments. And it really makes me sad. that is why I finally got tired of it and walked away. He cried and didn't want me to go. A week later he saw me at work and he looked SO happy to see me. And told me he hated the idea of losing me. But It's not enough. Words never are. I am not being conceited in any way (I'm usually a bit down on myself) but I am such a great catch. I'm the nicest/sweetest person ever to him, we've never had a single argument, lirerally. I have NEVER been a ***** to him. I am the only one he ever hangs out with. We've been so happy together but he never introduces me to his friends as his girlfriend or anyone else. He just calls me by name. And I am tired of feeling so unimportant. I don't want to keep worrying he may get a girlfriend (because technically he is single) so I ended it so I would stop worrying. I really just want to know if he's ever going to realize what he really had with me? He always told me to just see where the flow goes. But it has been a year with no commitment of any sort I don't only see him at work. We spend nearly every single day together ever since we met. And HE always contacts ME. It has always been that way. We have done everything a couple does. He always has that look in his eyes when he looks at me. I swear it's love. I can't explain in words but he really truly does care about me. He gets so upset if A guy even hits on me or if i text a guy friend. He thinks it's really mean when i say i can't keep waiting and that I may see other people eventually. He always looks like he's about to cry. He does care. He bought me a $250 camera for my bday and brought me to meet his family for thanksgiving. His family is a major part of his life. He pays for my dinners all the time and my movies. So much. And he never goes a day without texting me or calling me. And he always does the planning like inviting me over to watch movies and what not. He is colombian and has always called me chica bonita. The only reason I can think of as to why he won't commit is because his past gf of 6 years cheated on him and left him a year ago. So he probably has trust issues. But I had hoped by now He'd see I'm nothing like her she was controlling and a ***** a lot. Kept him on a chain too. I'm the total opposite
