TheForgotten Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hello guys, My and I have been together for a year, she is 15 and I am 14 she is a freshman I was in 8th grade. Well I didn't know that this relationship would last but it did, and all the drama came with it. It was great I was VERY happy when I was with her, we had our ups and downs but we went through it. I was actually in love. Well towards the end of the relationship she was in High School and I was in Middle School so I didn't know what was going on with her life anymore and I got curious and jealous with every single thing. I know its unhealthy but she was my first gf and I made rookie mistakes. Well we had a major fight since she started hanging with friends alot more then spending time with me. I know she has the freedom to do this but she actually never hung out with me at all. She said he had family matters but she was really with friends, she basically lied to my face. Well I got fed up with it and I blew up with her, again I know a mistake, but you gotta make mistakes to learn from them I guess. So after the fight of tossing insults we stopped talking all together. We were so happy and I would love to have her back. But here is the kicker. 4 years ago I made a friend online. He lives across the country from us. I barely know him, I basically know his age, city, and his full name. But 4 years, of playing games with him online ( yeah I know nerdy but well it was fun ) So I introduced her with him thinking it was no harm. But I learned that when we broke up he basically swept her from her feet, basically a Long Distance Rebound Relationship. They have never met, and they claim they love each other. Which I said was impossible and they were just feeling the emotion I like to call lust. She denies everything, she is really in to this dude. I loved her so much, and they are both 15 freshman, We live in Oregon he lives in florida. The question is what do you think? like do you think they can last I mean the have alot of years ahead of themselves before they can truly be together and such. I want her back but I do know when to quit and if he truly makes her happy I will step down. But I just want to feel loved again I love her, I love the way she makes me feel. It feels like I have a wound that wont stop bleeding and she seems perfectly okay. What would you do in this situation? Any Advice would help, how to cope, or how to get her back im just so confused right now I dont know what to do she was my first gf. Thanks!
Popondetta Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 First of all: You sound like a very nice guy! You're only 15 but seem very mature for your age. That will help you alot in this situation; both in getting over this girl and meeting new girls You sound a lot more mature than she does. You're both very young and she probably needs to go out and explore the world before she settles with one bf. I think maybe you need to as well. And then maybe at the end of this you will be together again. But seriously- in the meantime; Live your life, date as may girls as you can before you settle down, have fun, travel, see the world Try and act as cool as possible around her. I think girls like that and especially if your fighting etc is what broke you up in the first place. I'm SURE you'll end up with someone amazing! And I'm sure the rebound long distance thing wont last very long.... Edit: And try to keep the contact to a minimum
Author TheForgotten Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 Thank you! Your advice makes perfect sense. I was searching for a very complicated answer, but yours is just so simple but very true. How can I expect her to be with me and only me and we have so many years ahead of us! I never looked it that way, I am very grateful! -TheForgotten
zakfar Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I will say... don't fall in love so early. In your age, you should have happy time. Go and find other girls, and have your happy moments.
