TaintedEvil Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum just registered because I'm freaking out and need some advice. So I am a 19 year old male and work at this grocery store. Just after New Years we got a transfer in from a different store about 3 hours away. She is 23 and turned out to be a really nice person and really easy to talk to, whether about work, school, or just life in general. We hung out a couple times over the last week or two with a couple other people from work. Since she started working at our store I have found myself becoming more and more attracted to her both physically and emotionally. On one occasion we all went out and then around 3AM we got back to her place and it was me, her, and my friend Brian from work. She popped Toy Story 3 into the DVD player and we sat on her bed and watched the movie. She has got to be the biggest flirt I have ever met. Needless to say we all wound up sleeping in her bed halfway through the movie. She said her room gets hot at night and warned us that she occasionally strips, she wound up taking off her bottoms and I'm like holy crap what is up with this girl. She did this weird stuff like started pinching and what I assumed to be trying to cuddle and just a bunch of other stuff. So now that I've given you a gigantic wall of text to read here are my dilemmas. I really like her, and maybe want to go out with her so here goes. 1 - we both work on Monday and get out at the same time, would it be appropriate to ask her out for Friday after work? I dont want to be too blunt about it like "Hey you wanna go out after work on Friday?" because I dont know how this could turn out, could be a good friendship or a more intimate relationship. So I'm trying to figure out how to ask her and when the good timing is. 2 - Whats a good first date idea? I was thinking movie theater but that's a classic. Dinner would be too late we don't get out til 9:30. 3 - What do I wear? Jeans/Tshirt/Tennis-shoes? I've never been really involved in dating so I'm not too sure about this. I dont want to look like a total slob, but I dont want to wear a suit and tie and make it blatantly obvious that I like her. If I think of any more questions I will let you know, thanks. GottaGetAway Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Dont dip your dick in the companys ink. I engaged in a relationship with a coworker once. It ended horribly. In the end I had to leave a good job. It was a small place and I had to work with him all the time. Also, I felt like others we worked with were hating on me for "breaking his heart". Unless you have NO problem leaving this job and finding a new one if things go awry, I say stay away. There are plenty of suitable women who you don't work with.
