Unbalanced Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I like this girl, we have been talking for a few months now. Most talk takes place long distance because I am currently away at school. Anyway, in the beginning communication was low, and then it was high where we talked every day and spoke on the phone a few times. Over the past two weeks or so the communication has been dieing out, she never initiates conversation anymore, and returns my text messages 90% of the time, but she rarely returns them right away. I'm not in love with this girl, but I am still interested and want to get to know her more, and she's giving me the vibe that communication between us is now a chore. I don't want to stop talking to her because she hasn't rejected me or made it clear with words that she is uninterested. Basically, unless I know from the source, I don't want to come to my own conclusions. Should I just play it out until I am home for the summer? or should I be straight and ask her where her thoughts stand?...

Well what could I have done? I met her when I was on a break from school, and pretty much all our communication has been long distance
Hules Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Long distance isn't for everyone, she may of had a change of heart. Easiest way to find out. Stop initiating contact, if she doesn't contact you within say a week. Pretty safe to say she isn't interested.
Author Unbalanced Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 yeah, thats basically what happened last week =\...i'm just thinking that when I do go home for the summer I will want to contact her again to try to start things up again, but I feel the longer I go w/o contacting her, the weirder it would be randomly contacting her then, idk, maybe im just overanalyzing lol
Hules Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Safe to say mate, if she isn't putting in the effort to stay in contact shes not interested. Even if there is a small chance she is, do you really want to be with someone like that? I say move on.
