I'm a white male who's attracted mainly if not exclusively to black women, especially if they're darker-skinned. Unfortunately I am concerned that I might not get a black girlfriend. I have Asperger's Syndrome, which hampers my social skills, and I'm nerdy rather than "gangsta", so I don't know if I will appeal to most black women. The only attributes I have in my favor are an appreciation for African and African Diaspora culture and anger towards the way black women are treated by our society. Making things worse is the tendency for the pretty black girls I've asked out to already be in relationships. I know there is the option of online dating, but I don't really want a long-distance relationship. What should I do?

There are black women that have Aspergers, or like nerdy guys. You just need to find one that does.

If you want a black chick so bad, just go for the average one and not the hottest one on the planet lol. I mean, what are you complaining about? If you're so into them "exclusively" like you claim, then looks shouldn't be all that much of an issue, right? As long as she's decent enough.

well i think you should worry less about you not being "gangsta." how old are you? trust me, as a mixed girl, not all black women are looking for a gangsta man lol. And dont worry so much about talking about how we are always put dont. Some of us dont want every conversation to be about black power. hahahaha

no but seriously, just do the same thing you would to any girl. Talk, conversation, flirt, ask out on dates. If they are that worried and turned off about your syndrome then they arent the right girl for you and you should keep looking. Dont worry, there is a beautiful African queen out there for you somewhere =]

It would probably be more accurate to say that the women I am attracted to are typically black rather than to say that I'm attracted to all black women. I know that there are ugly women in every ethnicity.

Of course, ethnicity is not my only criterion. She also has to be good-looking, nice, and share some of my interests obviously.

well there you go. just go out, like anyone would do with any person, flirt, joke around, conversation and ask on dates. You dont have to go in and announce you want a black woman to be your girl now. just go in and act naturally.

I know this reply is kind of late but there are plenty of black women who don't like "gangstas," who are nerdy and/or socially awkward. But you know, like many nerdy girls, they may not be like the pretty girls. (Or they might be. In my case, I really am just a socially awkward nerd. Lol.)

I wish you the best of luck. I know Asperger's can make things like dating difficult.

And BigBlack, you should go back to the motherland. Africa is an amazing continent and not just what is shown in the starving kids commercials.

I thought people with aspergers lack sympathy for others? Regardless, it's definitely not impossible to find what your looking for.
