We have an awesome relationship so far we do everything we can together we both workout at the same gym and everything is great. Well she finds out that her job is going to be sending her to some conferences out of town a little this month and possibly the next which is her reason for the step back. She sayed that it would be hard for her not being able to see me. Talked to her on the phone and she says she really likes me. Just lost on how someone can like you but push you away. I'm not cool with it at all. I just think if you like someone enough you make things work and a step back just means its not worth it. Would just like some more advice on what I should do. Am I in the wrong?

Am I in the wrong? well, give her the step back. stop talking to her. if she's into you she'll contact YOU. don't be with someone who isn't trying to stick by your side.
Author cringle Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 She texts me a lot but most of her texts are relationship focused. Meaning they sound as if she wants a bf. Just odd. So why give her a break this soon if she really likes me? Distance or not. Its just crazy to think if you like someone why end a great think cause you will be gone for a couple weeks. Doesn't that give her free rein to mess around? She says she won't but how would I know.

She could have been burned in a previous relationship and she's afraid to commit too quickly. Her feelings for you might be growing faster than what she would like them to and now she's a little scared. Point is, you're never gonna know unless you ask her point blank if this is going somewhere, because if it isn't you would like to get on with your life rather than sit and wonder.

When I say let's take a break it means I don't wanna talk to you anymore. Thanks everyone though. I know its early in the relationship just wondering if it was worth staying around for.
