How many hours do you spend on the Internet and what do you do when you are online?

 

I feel like the Internet is my companion more than the acquaintances I meet outside because it's where I really express my personal thoughts and 'connect' with others on a different level.

I couldn't class any inaminate object as my companion. But the Internet is a big part of my life, and I don't know where I'd be without it now.

Want to get that toy that you remember having in your childhood, which would be impossible to find in any second hand shops or car boot sales? Go onto ebay and it'll probably be there.

 

Want an absolute bargain? Again, try ebay, or an online store, whatever it is you want you can probably get it for less than half the price that it is in the shops.

 

Got a load of **** you don't want? Sell it on ebay and make some money.

 

Need some porn? Just click a button.

 

Can't get a date? Join a dating site.

 

Also if you have an interest where you'd be lucky to find someone else who shares that same interest in real life, you know there will be several communites of people online who share that same interest, which you can join.

 

The list goes on.

 

Bottom line is the Internet makes life so much easier, and just more enjoyable in general.

Pretty much this yet at times I don't use it at all for stretches.

Though seriously sometimes porn, sometimes music, once in awhile purchases, sometimes job opportunities, sometimes posting on forums, sometimes gaming news, and rarely IRC but mostly to answer questions I have at the time.
