Erm, no I wasn't 'into' a guy. I mean when I liked him, I didn't know he used to play video games. But later on, I found out he does like video games. But anyways, that was the past. Well I just thought it was funny the way he worded it. This friend of mine must be into video games too. Erm I just giggled, but that pic didn't cross my mind. I had a picture of a faceless girl gaming with her bf but that was about it.

What are your reasons? Are you ready to be bashed by all the serious gamers on here? They would call you shallow and all sorts of thing. They would also say "oh video games are like make up for women." Arm yourself!!

(my opinion) You are very wrong in this assumption, there are tons of very educated guys who love to play video games, myself included. Games are a great way to blow off steam after writing a 400 page technical manual about the system architecture of the program I just wrote for a client . Gamer != low education you are extremely shallow, naive to think that.

Gamer != low education you are extremely shallow, naive to think that I agree. I play a game once in a while and I have a university degree. I also have high respect for people like John Carmack. It'll be hard to find guys that grew up in the 80's and 90's that don't play games. You'd be looking for a needle in a haystack.

Pretty much, whilst I'm not a VG programmer I am in a related field (enterprise level programming). If I make a mistake it could potentially cost a company a lot of money. (my opinion) My husband and I are both gamers, both have college educations. My husband graduated at the top of his class in HS. He also graduated with a four year engineering degree from a private college, all the while STILL being a gamer. I understand the importance of opinions, so I have to ask where you got the facts to form yours.
