DollyGirl12 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Personally I don't find this to be true. Every relationship that I have been with, when ended, I have taken time to be by myself. Yes, I have had those feelings of "will I ever find the right one". That's not because men don't try to reach out to me, because they do, and some have been pretty hot! But, to me, it's got alot more to do with morals, character, and just overall being a good match, then it does looks. And when my last relationship ended last Sept.((i ended it), yes, I did have men contacting me when they found out that I was single. But no, I was not interested in the least. I knew I was not near emotionally ready to get involved with someone else.

It has nothing to do with the beauty, and nothing to do with being with someone. You can be dating someone just because you want to try and fill a void but people need to realize that you can't depend on someone else to fill that void. You have to be confident and happy in who you are and then you won't be/feel alone. So what I mean is, I have some beautiful looking friends who are always desperately searching for a boyfriend or sometimes even have a boyfriend but he'll be an ******* to them or degrade them. Some of the most beautiful girls have been the most insecure girls i've ever met, some beautiful women are the most confident i've met, some unattractive women are the most insecure ive met, some unattractive women are the most confident ive met!!! Its all relative to the person. You think your ex has easily replaced you and moved on, but she may have not. She may be trying to fill an empty void. Some women, need to just feel like they have "someone" there. Hope this helped
