How they think, how they're treated, how they view "us"... to see if its really as different as I imagine it to be. If you could trade places with the opposite sex for a week, would you? And what would you expect to discover?

I think us women might actually have an edge when it came to picking up the ladies, but I'm not sure how a man would pick up other men. Maybe find an excuse to lift something heavy in his presence? Dust Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I’ve seen guys and gals on this site act like the grass is greener for the opposite gender when it comes to dating. As for me I see advantages and disadvantages to both genders, but hands down being a guy trumps when it comes to love and war.

I think there are certain social benefits and detriments to each gender, honestly, but I definitely do not want a penis that gets stuck to my leg in hot weather and needs to be adjusted and such and I'm sure plenty more I've never thought about. Penises just seem weird (nice for my purposes, in certain cases, of course, but I don't want to tote one around on my body). I'm happy being a girl.

Do you really believe that one week would tell you anything significant about living your life as the opposite sex? How can you possibly absorb or understand the 'culture' of the opposite gender in such a short time? For a meaningful comparison you would need to go back to at least the toddler years, through puberty and into adulthood. I know I'm being a little pedantic here but all you would learn in a week is how you (as either a man or a woman) experience life in the body of the opposite gender. You're still going to be the same person on the inside, so the only true comparison will be in the physical sensations........ maybe the 'sexually orientated' responses have a point!
