We exchanged numbers but I didn’t really think anything of it…he said he needed help with a class project. That week, he called and texted nonstop. I texted back flirtily, but wasn’t sure where this was going. I went to a party with him and his friends that weekend, and had an awesome time, taking him back to my place (but didn’t go all the way). I ended up seeing him the Monday following—after a little awkwardness, both of us re-admitted our feelings for one another and kissed. I even gave him an extra poster of a music artist that he and I both like (which is now hanging on his wall). We stayed in contact throughout the week—little texts here and there, talking on the phone. Tuesday night he definitely drunk-dialed me and talked about how badly he wanted to see me. I ended up going to a concert with him and his friends, whom I all really like. The thing was, though, he barely talked to me—we’d sit next to each other, walk near each other, and stood next to each other for the majority of the concert. If I looked at him and smiled, he looked away, like upset or something, and barely responded to any of my comments (even when I thanked him for inviting me!). Immediately after the concert he was also on the phone with some female and asking if she was okay/sick/feeling better…(!!) On the way back he and his friends headed back to their building, and he said goodbye, but nothing else. I felt really hurt. I don’t get what went wrong! I’m guessing he’s just not that into me—I just don’t want to deal with him in class this week.
Author kelestika Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Thanks for the input--I really liked him, but I feel like there should have been more effort involved. That phone call was got me the most upset...being exhausted and coming back at like 4AM is natural, hah. On to the next one!
