Author iris219 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 haha, you think there's a difference? Why would he say that unless he already has? Who says that to people they consider just friends? Tell you what. Have sex with him and see what happens. You'll never know. Maybe you'll fall in love with him or something. Not trying to be rude, just honest. You weren't rude at all. I wish I would fall in love with him. I want nothing more than to be in a relationship with someone I love.
somedude81 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Yes, she finally loves me! Now we can go out and have a relationship! Uh, I don't think that's the common man's mentality to sex. Kind of seems like that of a woman's who is in a FWB with a man she wishes should be in a relationship with.
CloudLiver Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 somedude81, if you read iris's description of the guy, it'd make more sense.
CloudLiver Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Iris, I know how you feel. Real men are rare in America. It's like they're afraid of women. (Are you in America, btw?)

Pretty much no woman would be OK with having sex with a man who didn't want a relationship with her if she did. I wondered if most guys felt the same way, or if they'd take sex over nothing.
Author iris219 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Iris, I know how you feel. Real men are rare in America. It's like they're afraid of women. (Are you in America, btw?) Yes, America. And I'm having the most difficult time dating--meaning I don't date because I can't find anyone! I haven't been on a real date in years!
waynebrady Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Why would a woman want to use a guy for sex? I seriously doub't that has ever happened... Women don't need sex, atleast not that much.
A O Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 One of the questions is directed at guys, while the other is directed at herself. Can you guess which is which? She has not used anyone. Lets make that clear. If anyone thinks otherwise, I'll happily debate this point with them. Can guys be used for sex, can anyone be used for sex - hard question to answer without more detail Perhaps you'd like to give us an example where you'll feel used after engaging in sex? Whether or not she deceives anyone is beside the point. The guy won't see it as sex, he'll think: Yes, she finally loves me! Now we can go out and have a relationship! There are two issues here - deception, whether someone is being used. That's a key issue. You know my thoughts. The other key issue is whether its "wise" to continue to see someone when feelings are as mismatched as they are. My views on that are clear also. Bottom line is - she's made her intentions clear. He is the architect of his own happiness (or downfall). If he chooses to hang with the OP despite knowing full well her feelings about all this, then that's on him. From her side, and since she's here, I would strongly advise her to end this completely. Only ever befriend men that you actually want to be friends with and likewise them to you. .
mortensorchid Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 No one should be "used" for anything. Women have often times said that some guy was using them for sex, but they can also be used for other things as well. Someone will take advantage of another person because they are preying on the person's need to be liked or in a relationship. Still, there is a such thing as karma as well. One can decide whether or not they want to do something. Often times we walk into many situations completely knowing that what we are doing is wrong. So, do you or don't you? You can walk into it as the user or usee knowing what you are doing is wrong, and you can say it's ok with you either way. But, do you really want to? Deep down we know it really isn't ok.
musemaj11 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Well it would make a change from guys using us girls for sex. What goes around comes around... Well, I guess thats why more and more men are using women for money these days. What goes around comes around indeed ...
