If a girl tells you she is a prude does it mean she is completely against sex?

So there is this girl I like, and we started seeing each other about 2 days ago. This is the first time we were out alone just the 2 of us, and it was not really a date. But we know we like each other.

So when we were hanging out she told me that she is prude. She is a strong catholic girl, who is quite religious. Could this mean she is completely against sex? She knows that I have no problem with sex before marriage. So was it her way of saying she is opposed to sex? And if a girl usually say "she is a prude" could it mean outright against sex?We were also talking about our prom stories, and I mentioned about my ex-girlfriend who goes to a different college now, and she immediately said the girls from there are easy.

It means that the woman is not turned on by you. She will let go of the prude mantle as soon as she finds a guy who turns her head upside down. I've had women who could be considered 'party girls' rejecting me, and I've had prude girls who didn't put that much of a resistance.

Ask her. She might mean all sorts of things.

By the way,I forgot to mention that the Religious women can be far more naughtier than the regular, atheist, everyday woman :lmao:.

Well about a months ago when she was drunk, she came on to me and said "your a frat boy why are you not trying seducing me?" and If remember correctly asked me to seduce her. But she was just drunk probably was joking because I was with someone else.

Depends where you are in the world, too.

She might be one of those 'reborn virgins'. That kind of woman expects men to now wait for her like she was Christ's mother.

Move on from that woman. She seems to have issues you don't want and you don't have to deal with. Plenty of women are out there for you that you can have with little to no effort.

All women are more or less prude of a different degree. She most defenitley hates sex and think it's wrong, especially considering she's catholic. Christian women dislikes sex even more than non-christian women.

Unless you want to end up in a sexless relationship with a woman who goes "Ewww!" everytime you bring up sex.... stay away.

You're a virgin, am I right?

Christian women dislike sex. Hm, I do wonder how so many young, Catholic girls end up pregnant. In the Philippines, women and men are raised to be strict catholics and still there are so many teenager mothers. Same goes for many of those European Catholic Countries, even when the woman is raised very religiously, many are sexually active when they don't have to be.

Let me guess. They were raped? Women don't have sexual desires, right :lmao:? You do know that Darwin at least had the facts to back up what he believed in, right?

The girls the OP describe are full of sh*t. She'll put out for other guys, just not for you.

I have a friend who laughingly calls herself a prude, and it has nothing to do with rejecting people or lying about what she's like or not ever having sex and having some kind of complex . For her it just means she's pretty vanilla, she doesn't like to have sex with guys right away until she knows them, she doesn't like anal, she's not into threesomes, stuff like that. And she doesn't like guys making a lot of crude jokes around her either. She likes "making love" and having regular sex and oral sex and that's it, and some people call her a prude because of it and she laughs and says okay, she is a prude.

Kinda. It could mean she doesn't like to do anything other than straight sex, not even oral.

Or maybe she will only do it in the missionary position.

Or maybe she just doesn't like any sex at all.

I wouldn't bother with a prude. Not just because of a limiting sex life, but it also probably means she has some deep seated issues.

She doesn't sound like a prude at all! That sounds extremely normal.. Someone whose *not* like that I would probably consider a little deviant/adventuresome, aside from the crude joke part. Goodness.

If she is a strict Catholic maybe she is a virgin though.

Kalikula- yes I don't think it is called for when people call my friend prudish, I think it's judgmental and not terribly nice even though they do it teasingly. She has a great sense of humor though and just takes everything in stride. She is just a pretty normal girl, shy with guys, maybe not very adventurous but not frigid either. Some people just think all women should act like porn stars, I guess. Anyway, what people mean by "prude" is obviously not just one thing.

She is a strong religious catholic girl who likes to party and get drunk.

Haha I see what your saying but she parties like twice a year, and before eating food she prays even in public and when we go out. She is pro-life, opposed to same sex marriage, basically she follows the teachings of the catholic church. A while ago when we all got drunk and played "I never" she left when the sex related matters came up.

She has conservative views and tastes. There is nothing, per se, wrong in that.
