He already knows what I look like and we have spent a LOT of time getting to know each other over the phone. However, next week is when we plan on meeting. So my question is this and is especially for guys, but girls are more than welcome to give their advice/input too... I was thinking of wearing a sundress and high heels when I meet him. He lives near the ocean. Guys, what do you think? If you were going to meet for the first time a girl who you were interested in through an online dating site, would you prefer she wear: 1. a cute dress 2. jeans 3. shorts 4. professional attire He will be picking me up at the airport. Maybe it's not a big deal, but it is fun and I'm so excited!!!
threebyfate Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 If you're flying, you have to consider both comfort and that you'll have to take your shoes off when you go through security. Also, when you fly, high heels are not a great idea particularly if they're tight, strappy sandals. Your feet and ankles will swell a bit from being at a high altitude in a compressed cabin. So a pair of reasonable height sandals should be fine as long as you're fine walking on the ground barefoot. If not, find another outfit that requires socks and slip on shoes of some kind. Do wear the sun dress unless it's a really snug fit but make sure you have a sweater or coat or you'll freeze to death during the flight. Even their blankets are lame.

Again very logical... didn't think of that either and yeah you're right. They freeze airplanes; thanks for reminding me! I have the perfect little sweater for that!

Ginger Beer Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Depends on your body type, IMO. Are you slim or curvier? If it's the latter, a cute dress with dark tights and some flat shoes. I think that's sexy but not slutty. That's me though. Hope this post helps.
