Sooooo, haven't posted in a minute and decided to let you guys in on the latest of occurences.

I knew it was inevitable in such a small town that I would run into someone. I just didn't imagine it to be an entire 7 months later. It was 5:00 p.m. yesterday and I got off work and needed a shot and good COLD BEER. So I went to the one of 2 places in town that I usually go to.

As i'm driving up I notice someone sitting close to window and its the ex's best friend. I park get out and walk in just like I always do and go up to the bar and sit down. After walking in and walking right past these 2 women (Her best friend and her sister) were sitting directly behind me at a table.

I say hi to my friends there and order something to drink. I'm sitting there for i'd say a good hour and half and several drinks. Its been a while 7 months now and haven't seen these people since the breakup and being the first time, it gave me chills in my stomach and made me uneasy until the alcohol put me in better state of mind.

After finishing my drinks and deciding to go somewhere else my entire plan was to get up and leave without saying a word to either and walking out.

Best friend: I know your not about to walk by and not say hi.

Me: Ohh, hey hun, how are you.

Best Friend: Good, hahaha, just getting ready for my trip to ******.

Me: Thats good, ****** thats always been your place to go.

*Sister comes back from the bathroom as i'm standing there*

Sister: Hey whats up, long time no see, *hug*

Me: I know right, how you've been.

Sister: ehh not so good, thats why i'm here, i'm mad at my husband.

Me: *Laugh* (her husband was my best friend at the time), aww you'll get over it.

Sister then decides to spill some drama about her husband's ex-wife like we have seen each other the entire time.

My whole reason for this post is the flame about how these people have NO SHAME at all. You know, I understand by association, some things wouldn't remain the same.

But all these people I let in and took as my really good friends all DISAPEARRED after the breakup. Never got another call from them, never nothing.

I don't know how it goes for women, but the guy friends I made which are (exes) family like her sisters husband, dropped out my life like a cured virus.

Funny, the true friends I had prior to this entire relationship, the friends, I dumped for over a year were guess what, the ones STILL THERE after the breakup and picked up with me like the day we left off. I feel like a ****ty person to have left them the way I did.

A true friend will no matter whats going on your life, be there for you. For all those other people who are pretenders, you can all rot in hell.

Did you dump her? Cause if you did "her" friends are going to stick by her not you. Actually I think in most cases when a breakup happens, people want to be loyal to the person they knew first. Its human nature

She dumped me, and I totally understand about loyalty, but it was because of MEEEEE, that her and her sister even talk to this day...Its because of MEEEEE that her relationship with her familly got back to being as close as it got.

She was an outcast when we first met. I made her patch things up with her entire family (Long story) and become closer with them.

These are the same people that I be-friended and got to seeing as my own family. Which is why my harsh response.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE, the people that somehow seem to FORGET and only remember what they want. People are just SELFISH CREATURES IMO.

Exactly, thats a great point, which brings me to wanna say. This is why when most people finally get burned out. Everyone wonders why they excert ZERO ENERGY to anything but themselves.

Just as you stated above, nothing anyone does other than for THEMSELVES matters. Why? becuase in the end, people take take take and could give 2 ****s about you IN THE END THAT IS.

We as humans, are selfish creatures and in the end are only in it for OURSELVES.
