interfuse Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I'm a female and I don't like any of those trends except the big sunglasses which my ex-boyfriend strongly disliked. I love my big sunglasses ahem.

mogul Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Not sure if I'm in the minority for guys. I actually think girls wearing UGG boots are extremely cute and I love oversized "bitch" sunglasses. Everything on the list doesn't bother me other than the "harem" pants. Nothing turns me on more than a well dressed woman who is confidant in her clothes and has the right attitude.
Dust Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Niiice to know. Sarcasm? My point is you wear your big sunglasses and what ever else you like, because the right guy is going to find it sexy.
D-Lish Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 That, and advertise Victoria's Secret, which is supposed to get the guy's mind wondering what else she buys there.. Vic Secret is the Walmart of the lingerie world... When I hear women talk about how much they love Vic Secret, I just shake my head in dismay- they have so much to learn...

fishtaco Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Vic Secret is the Walmart of the lingerie world... When I hear women talk about how much they love Vic Secret, I just shake my head in dismay- they have so much to learn... Interesting. Being a guy, I know vic secret and fredricks. And that's it. My interest has more to do with getting the lingerie off the ladies then where they came from. But now I'm curious, so what would be higher ranking in the lingerie world then?
Dust Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 But now I'm curious, so what would be higher ranking in the lingerie world then? Just look at the price tags and go from there. La Perla and stuff they sell at overpriced stores will probably impress.
orangelady Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I have an artsy photo of a naked woman wearing the big sunglasses while sitting in a chair on the beach. It's hott ZZzzzzzzzzzzz
Dust Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 ZZzzzzzzzzzzz I hope you're sleeping naked, or close to naked. I mean a woman sleeping naked or with nothing but a night gown on is best. I hate it when they sleep in full pajamas and panties
Intricategirl Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Nothing turns me on more than a well dressed woman who is confidant in her clothes and has the right attitude. This. The reason I love jumpsuits is because I look good in them. By themselves, they are UGLY! On most women, they are ugly! I saw one in a store, knew it was a trend, thought, "I want to see how bad it looks" and I tried it on. It looked so amazing that I considered wearing nothing but jumpsuits the rest of my life. It makes me look taller and thinner, emphasizes my chest, and since it's sleeveless and I have fantastic shoulders, it works on me. But I have a friend that is a catalog model, and she can't even pull off the look. It's not about, "Oh, I'm so hot I can pull off anything." It's that I took a risk and found something that works for me. And it makes me feel sexier, so I carry myself even more confidence than I usually have. I've got another dress. Ugliest g*ddamn thing ever created. I worked in a clothing store that sold it, and we called it the Betty Rubble dress because it was a bright turquoise leopard print. It's pure trailer trash on the hanger. I put it on as a dare, and I was instantly Ginger from Gilligan's Island. Not trashy at all, just pure raw sexuality. Women have to wear what works for them and ignore the trends. And take a gamble. That's how these weird trends get started in the first place.
persevere Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Whacking gum with that "I'm thick with arrogance" look. I haven't seen it in a while, but women who wear sweatshirts tied around their waist. It doesn't matter what time of year. Summer, 100 degrees?..sweatshirt tied around waist to hide their booty.
Ross PK Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Oversized sunglasses look really bad. Harem pants don't look good either, but at the same time I kinda like em becasue of the nostalgia factor (MC Hammer). Ugg boots don't seem too bad, I quite like the furry ones.
kiss_andmakeup Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Haha, I've heard a lot of men talk about hating the oversized sunglasses thing. My boyfriend said something like it looks like you're walking around with tv screens plastered to your face. I personally like big-ish sunglasses so I wear em anyways. The "PINK" sweatpants are oh so obnoxious.
Pyro Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Ugg boots and oversized sunglasses are the only things on the list that do not bother me at all. Everything else does to varying degrees.
Untouchable_Fire Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Dude, I have to wear heels all day at work. HAVE to, and they hurt! They will pry my Uggs off my cold dead feet. Unless I die at work Looks like sticking your foot into a sheep. Probably better than heels... but I doubt as comfortable as my running shoes.
tman666 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I'd rather focus on female fashion trends I love: Spring/summer dresses YOGA PANTS (holy mother-of-god they can look hot on a girl) Black tights + t-shirt/sweater/coat. Need I say more? When I was in Vegas last summer over the July 4th weekend, there were a bunch of girls with these "boots" that were knee high and looked like they were made of shag carpet, or something similar. "Poofs" - I'm not sure how else to describe them. They were pretty horrendous. Fishnet stockings usually look bad too. With regards to lingerie: it all looks the same scattered on the floor.
pj1970 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 SKINNY JEANS not only do they give TMI - and yet another opportunity to let us all know that all women are not in fact Swedish or Ethiopian models but even in the rare event I might have the priviledge to be peeling them off a woman at some point, they look exhausting to even try to take off and they really seem to be pushing that insecurity space-time continuum to the point of squeezing in upon themselves yay! now all women have the opportunity to have cameltoe! that, and those flats shoes that are now in any color or spangled variety but, you know, that distaste I'm pretty sure stems from the fact that once again women's fashion has come up with a perfect simple solution I wish I could wear something like that I think the shoes one stems from jealousy endurant socks with ankle elastic to wear in public genius can I wear just socks in public?
SummersEve Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I wear nice lingerie every day, I feel better in it. But imo it's not necessary or all that clever to buy $200 La Perla bras. Matched sets, lacy or colorful and maybe a garter belt are good enough here. Lipstick color, imo, goes by a woman's coloring. I think red can look great, especially for glamour night out or on women with a darker complexion. It's funny how much of fashion is really for women. Most men don't notice or don't like plenty of it, especially expensive brands. Then I've heard a lot of them have a thing for whatever was in when they were first noticing girls. My husband is baffled by why I do my nails or wear jewelry and other things. It is so funny, when here I thought I got fixed up for him. One thing I absolutely hate is those dark ugly eyeglasses frames women were wearing, although they seem to be going away here. I guess the point is that the ugly glasses are supposed to point out how ugly she is not. Also I'm glad bedhead is gone and also that awful hairstyle where the front was longer than the back. I kinda sorta follow fashion but if it doesn't look good on me or I don't like it, that's it. I know a few who always have whatever the big new in thing is and they seem to have this snobby attitude like they're in on some big exclusive secret nobody else knows. LOL.

I do agree that they're not for everyone. And if I'm wearing them I'll take them off myself when bedtime rolls around, instead of making my poor boyfriend do it! NO ONE should be wearing skinny jeans that give them camel toe. That is...frightening.
SmileFace Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 (edited) Seriously? Rompers? These are the best things ever. I am pretty disappoints these made the list. However I do agree "PINK" pants should be burned. Also pairing uggs with them. While burning those - please burn every guy and girl that wears pajamas in public. Every guy that wear TAPOUT clothing. Every guy that wears sweats everyday. Girls who only wear leggings, uggs and oversized hoodies. Girls who wear uggs until they are leaning on one side. Girls who wear cheap bubble jackets with heals. SmileFace Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 (edited) Can we add to that any guy who wears Ed Hardy??! YES, please! Since when has a male being bedazzled been sexy. All guys and girls who wear Ed Hardy! Also if you are over 21 and the only things in your closet are Aeropostale, Hollister, America Eagle, and Abercrombie & Fitch ... something is wrong Edited March 31, 2011 by SmileFace
