ChessPieceFace Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 OP has a point but laces it with bias and ignorant comments, defeating the whole argument. Women do want equality, and also to be privileged, and also to marry a guy that makes more than they do. Everyone is selfish and wants whatever they can get. The problem is our society, which tells women they can have all of these things at once when they are clearly contradictory on a societal level. Some women may succeed at finding a rich man who will bend over backwards to be their perfect contradiction. Most will not, and some of those women will come to boards like this, whining and complaining that their perfect contradiction of a man can't be found. Well, duh, ladies. What did you expect. Get closer to living in reality and rejecting the lies sold to you by our society and maybe you will be able to find more happiness in your life. Will this be fixed, can it be fixed? No, not really. Any one person can fix their own life, but that's about it. In terms of society, can't put the genie back in the bottle. Our western society will continue its downward march until it implodes, due to economic upheaval (dollar collapse), revolution due to that or other factors, being conquered by someone who is more motivated (chinese, muslims) or whatever. America is a failed experiment in its final years. The rich (blue and red alike) wanted it to end this way, btw. You're just cattle to them. So, you can make these generalizations and pat yourself on the back for being right, but it doesn't get you anything. The world isn't going to magically fix itself because you found its flaws. It will continue to be flawed. So my advice to the men is to accept how !@%$ed things are and try to find girls who aren't like this, because they still exist ... somewhat. And to the women, realize how society has sold you lies, and if you're unhappy in your life it may be part of the reason why.
