babybear Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 "Marc" and I were not technically ever "together" - but we most definitely were more than just friends for about a year in grad school. Things went pretty sour, and we absolutely severed all ties. I wanted nothing to do with him, and we didn't say a word to each other and now it's been about 4 years. He always seemed receptive, but he had told me some lies, and I didn't have time for drama. A few months ago I was out and a friend mentioned his name. I had not thought about this guy in years, but I thought, hmmm....I wonder how he is? I have no interest in him romantically, but for a while there we did make good friends. I was thinking about dropping him a quick line to say hello (email) - but wondering if that's just stupid to do. Maybe things are best left alone? I honestly just really wonder how my old buddy is doing. He could possibly never write back, or send me back something mean. I'm in a relationship, so I truly don't want anything romantic out of this. Just wanted some opinions. Thanks guys!
