Or it could be someone walking down the street who doesn't know me who spots me and thinks 'that's that guy who's on that website always talking about how he can't get a woman and he's 35 and a virgin'. I know the latter is pretty unlikely (probably the former too), but I just don't want to take the risk. The part you forgot to add was "I never have been with a virgin before, perhaps I should go chase him down and get him to come to a motel room with me." Another of life's missed opportunitites!

I did it especially for this site, so it doesn't exist anywhere but here. I like this one. My avatar says that I am a Mom to a cute little kid. She is my light! Silver Surfer is a super hero character from my childhood. I used to watch Silver Surfer cartoons when I was a boy and was intrigued by the fact that a silver humanoid being traveled on his surfboard through the universe for a noble cause. In the story the character is from the planet Zenn La which is about to get destroyed by the most powerful being in the universe called Galactus. Galactus absorbs planets and stars and converts their mass into energy, which he then uses himself. In order to save Zenn La, Silver Surfer sacrifices his freedom and damns himself to work for Galactus. This way he can warn alien races and tell them that Galactus is coming, so that they can flee their planet and survive as a race. At one point Silver Surfer comes across earth and instead of just warning humans he decides to turn on Galactus in order to save earth. Silver Surfer manages to save earth, but is exiled from earth in the process. However Silver Surfer manages to become a free man in the end. What does this say about me? I'm not entirely sure, but there are some things I really like that converged in that cartoon. I like science fiction, I like the idea of space travel, I like technology, I value justice and I value a noble yet gentle attitude. I also like the fact that Silver Surfer is a wise character and views things from a philosophical yet simple point of view. I also like the idea that he helps everyone he can, he has an attitude like: "If I don't help these people, then who will." And he very much does his own thing in his own way, he's a self made man. I always wanted to be a self made man, to be independent, not have a boss above me and not have to rely on anyone. I think the handknit lace garter is kinda quirky and sexy - just like I try to be!
