Stung Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) My current avatar is a honeycomb, where usually it is bees. Perhaps that means I needed to concentrate on something sweet for a while. It's all on a theme, though. A theme that says, I have a running private joke with my husband about bees. Edited March 27, 2011 by Stung
elaina Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 My current avatar is a honeycomb, where usually it is bees. Perhaps that means I needed to concentrate on something sweet for a while. It's all on a theme, though. A theme that says, I have a running private joke with my husband about bees. I love how your screenname and avatar match. My avatar says I love nature. With friends I like having my picture up (on facebook) but on discussion forums, a beautiful and interesting nature scene is a way to be anonymous but show what is important to me.
threebyfate Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 My avatar symbolizes the unseen within the core of all humanity, where the shell is also invisible and meaningless.
welikeincrowds Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 My avatar symbolizes the unseen within the core of all humanity, where the shell is also invisible and meaningless. Don't joke about that, you're going to put me into existential crisis
Feelin Frisky Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 To whom it may concern, mine is undressing you with my eyes.
anne1707 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Mine means I am subject to feline domination. What cat owner isn't!
threebyfate Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Don't joke about that, you're going to put me into existential crisisDon't think you can hide yourself from me. I see through your fiendishly devious avatar!
cerridwen Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 @Jane100--your avatar and even-handed posts reflect a peaceful spirit. I don't ever recall an angry or mean-spirited post from you. @SmileFace--glamour, glamour, glamour is what I think of! Clothes horse? Makeup fan? It's what I always associate with you. @Mme. Chaucer--sassy and confident. @Stung--name and avatar says expect the straight poop. My avatar is Ceridwen, a Welsh figure who's figured prominently in tarot card readings.
Leeway Harris Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Mine says "This took two minutes in MS Paint." It's supposed to be a mandala. I did it especially for this site, so it doesn't exist anywhere but here.
Mrlonelyone Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 @cerridwen Either an Irish/Celtic princess or Princess leah/Amidala from StarWars.
cerridwen Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 @MrLonelyOne If you ever switch out your avatar for another photo, consider the one of you in your car rocking the glasses. Cute!! Incidentally, I often suspect there are quite a few good-looking people here on LS. And they are seldom the ones touting their attractiveness. Hmm...
denise_xo Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 To whom it may concern, mine is undressing you with my eyes. I'd be happy to make that my concern
Crazy Magnet Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I spent time specifically searching for something to do with the word crazy since I only seem to attract nut jobs for boyfriends. My name was chosen after a particularly crazy one stalked me to this site and I had to change names. (Edit: I never claim to be totally normal either!)
Author jane100 Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 Cerridwen, thank you, so sweet of you to say, but I have my moments, even on LS if I get carried away or exasperated. P.S. Aren't people interesting though, i've really enjoyed people talking about their avatars.
Lilmisus Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Mine says that I love taking walks on the beach and that I'm not completely over my ex since I'm using a picture of us together..and put it up a week after breaking up But in actuality, I just really like the picture and walks on the beach. It doesn't matter that he's "in" it and holding my hand; and it also means that I didn't like the one I had before.
Feelin Frisky Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I'd be happy to make that my concern Thanks, honey. I was beginning to think I needed to post a picture of a dog or something to get noticed.
alphamale Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Lots, possibly? I'm always struck how Nexus is a handsome robot (but enjoy your posts, so no disrespect!), Paddington bear is a soft toy, Carhill is a sepia picture of a child on a bike, and there's someone else who has a soft porn/sexy picture who complains about the same in her life, and so on ... just keeping my eyes open on this one mine says i'm indifferent
Eddie Edirol Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Mine says im too lazy to put in the effort. Damn.
OliveOyl Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Mine says nothing really about me. I suppose on a bad hair day I could coax my hair into looking like Olive Oyl's....
january2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Not sure what my avatar says about me other than I'm open to colourful makeup (it's the MAC Full On Lust facechart from The Originals collection, Winter 2007), which is not strictly true anymore. What is true is that I love colour, especially vibrant colour, because looking at it makes me happy - which is my creative and designer side showing through. And I still love teal though I probably wouldn't have it all over my eyes as in the facechart.
irc333 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I don't do personal pics on message boards, that's what Facebook is for. lol Lots, possibly? I'm always struck how Nexus is a handsome robot (but enjoy your posts, so no disrespect!), Paddington bear is a soft toy, Carhill is a sepia picture of a child on a bike, and there's someone else who has a soft porn/sexy picture who complains about the same in her life, and so on ... just keeping my eyes open on this one
Stung Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I love how your screenname and avatar match. My avatar says I love nature. . Thank you, you big sack of sugar. I like your watery scene. @Stung--name and avatar says expect the straight poop. My avatar is Ceridwen, a Welsh figure who's figured prominently in tarot card readings. I have been told I sting like a bee. Sometimes the straight poop hurts! Isn't Ceridwen a nature goddess?
