DreamerGirl27 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I am perfectly fine, happy and content with my life exactly the way it is being single. All of my close girlfriends...all I hear out of them nonstop is "I want to get married and have kids". Some of them are younger than me. I'm 26. I don't want to think about marriage until I'm at least 30 and there's no way in heck I want to be popping out any kids until after that. I'm happy. Alone. I've finally reached a point where I'm not looking. Now...the bad part. Now that I've reached this point, where I DON'T want a boyfriend...now I'll probably find someone. ::smacks forehead:: The more you want it...the farther away it gets. The more you chill and relax and enjoy your life, the more people will want to be in it and the higher chances you have of finding someone. Heaven help me, I'm having too much fun with my freedom!!
Mrlonelyone Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I kinda know what you mean. Just yesterday when I was pretty much spent with online dating... and really just about done with this place too... I finally got a response from a woman who wants to meet up. In contradiction to the "advice" I got here. She may no show but it's strange how sometimes someone will come into our lives when we don't want them and are never around when were looking. Kinda like how a cop is never around when you need one but always when your speeding.
somedude81 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 The way you feel, seems to match the feelings of several women I have met. Trouble is I'm not happy being single and want to date them but they turn me down because they are perfectly happy with being single. From what I've experienced, the girls who don't want to be single, are already in relationships. So that leaves men with two choices, try to get the single girls who would rather be single, or chase the girls in relationships and try to get them to cheat. Sigh.
Author DreamerGirl27 Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 Wanna swap places? No thanks, you keep having those ONS's.

Can I borrow these women you're meeting as friends? All of my female friends who are single desperately want to be in relationships. It's getting really old. It's a turn off TO ME, it's gotta be a turn off to men.

Well I'm sure you might not meet someone (feels weird saying that to someone). Just because you're not looking doesn't mean you will find someone. Well you can reject the guy and tell him you're not looking if that happens. If you really love your single life, don't let any guy get in the way.
