Why do guys always use the I'm not attracted to you anymore, excuse?

When dumping you? How do you maintain attraction in the relationship? Why do men lose attracton to a woman?

I have never used that one.

 

I have become sick of drama and no longer felt the relationship was worth the cost. For me, this has been the reason for most breakups. The second reason has been the relationship had no identity. My partners had no identity of their own or ability to express themselves. Whatever I wanted to do was fine with them. I can't handle that. I need a partner who has her own identity and desires and can express that with me.

 

In summary, my two biggest breakup reasons:

 

1. Too much drama!

2. Partner has no self identity

 

Never have I broken up for "no longer attracted". There are underlying reasons.

Hmm, that seems to be why my ex broke up with me. Ironically, he told me that I always agreed with him and things were to perfect early on in our relationship. So then I tried to fix that by telling him my opinions and then all of a sudden I was being "selfish" and that led to "drama"...go figure

In response to your question, OP, I am not a guy, but I think that a lot of guys do lose attraction when they perceive too much drama in the relationship. It's like you become a liability rather than a partner, I think.
