chocolate_boy Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I've been dating a girl for about a month now, been out maybe 5 times, we've stayed at each other's houses a few times, and have had sex. She's nice, but I don't feel I know her too well yet. I also got pretty hurt last summer when I fell for a work-colleague and ended up coming on a bit strong and getting dumped after we'd been dating for a few weeks, so this time I've kept it a lot more chilled. She came out and asked me last night "what are we?" I kinda didn't really know what to say so made a joke and said "human beings" she laughed, but then said she likes being the only one, and I said I wasn't seeing anyone else as well. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I do have fun with her, but I'm not sure if I want the whole gf/bf thing right now, I don't want to rule it out, I just like going the way we are now, I don't really know her well enough to decide how I feel. I'm not really sure how to handle it though. There's a bit of an age gap as well, I'm 31 she's 22 which doesn't bother either of us, and I don't think it's a massive deal, guess I'm just wondering if I need to say something or just continue as we are? What you guys think?
