eerie_reverie Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Last Wednesday I came on to a friend after a night at a bar, thinking the feelings were mutual. He didn't resist, and we spent the night together, kissing. In the morning, things were awkward at first, but as I was leaving, he kissed me goodbye and said he was glad things had happened. I didn't hear from him the rest of that day. On Friday, I went out of town. He texted me that night to invite me over, as people were hanging out at his place. I was supposed to be gone all week, but cut my vacation short, returning last night. We had texted a little over the weekend, so he knew of the change in plans. But he hasn't invited me to hang out yet, and before all this happened, we used to text every day and hang out almost every night. The withdrawl indicates he's not interested and is letting me down gently, right? I am kind of surprised, but I don't want to be pushy by demanding an explanation.
Ginger Beer Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 No, he seems like he likes you. Why else would he tell you he's glad things happened? You're worrying about nothing. He invited you over with people there so he obviously wanted to see you. Give it time, he may be playing hard to get or not wanting to be too nice.
