A cheating woman is not worth catching an assault charge. Exactly! Assault charges are a BIG deal! Plus having one makes you very vulnerable down the road.

He beat OM so badly that the OM was left partially brain damaged. Needless to say our man went to prison for 4 or 5 years. He's still dealing with the fallout from his felony conviction and imprisonment, and has been trying for years to get it expunged from his record without success. He'd be the first to tell you to just walk away in that situation. Woggle has it right: living well is the best revenge.
sumdude Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) It's inexplicable yet understandable. It's a totally blind rage too. After my ex wife suddenly moved out at one point a co worker and good friend of mine had to hold me back from getting in my car, going up to where they lived and goin' all John Wayne on their a**es. I'm glad I didn't because of the legal reasons.. but otherwise I might have gotten some satisfaction from it. Part of it was just not wanting to take it lying down like some pu**y doormat boy. Both of them were culpable in the lies though really it was mostly her... I'm sure whatever she told him about me was partially fabricated and way overblown. In fact he might have been so afraid of me if I did show there might have been a firearm involved, So.. good thing I didn't go. In the end I kept my cool and took the high road as much as possible. I'd also severely damage the property of said woman, and find ways to humiliate her and expose her for the rotten cheating whore she is. I wouldn't care about legal ramifications either. What I've learned over the years is that when I'm pushed far enough (which is EXTREMELY rare, mind you), if I feel slighted or betrayed enough, I'm far more reckless than the average person and will react accordingly. I feel sorry for any future girlfriend who cheats on me, and the guy she cheats on me with. Apparently, "over the years" you never learned the stupidity of these courses of action? Hey dude, I'm the same way at heart. I want to exact violent justice on an unjust world. Problem is, it would end up hurting my life more than anyone else's. Think about the ultimate consequences of your actions before doing dumb things like you're suggesting. Is your freedom worth giving up just to punish some idiots? My life is worth more than the lives of the idiots, therefore I'm not going to go to prison just to act on some sense of justice which is going to be punished by the law.
