Like wats the maximum amount of weeks/months it should take for someone to realize they want to talk to u, and possibly be with you? (as long as your not contacting them either) or after how many months should u just expect they will probably never reach out to you...for a VERY long time..meaning theyve made up their mind and are done.

Waiting around for weeks, months or years for the other person to come to their senses and realize what they lost in you is just foolish. Expect never to hear from your ex again.
youngskywalker Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 It's best to assume that you'll never hear from them again. Both sides, depending on how the breakup went, should just move on. If you're waiting for someone to contact you, DON'T wait around. First launch IME is the easiest to take. If your thinking about contacting an ex don't do that either unless you're 100% sure you want them back. Don't forget to factor into the equation if they will actually want you back. It needs to come from both ends. Sometimes we think that contacting an ex will spark into something again but it rarely does. Instead it just causes more heartache. Go find the next person instead.
