There are a couple of things I just want to get opinions on, I met her online and we have had a couple of emails either way. If we meet and we seem ok with each other I would like to know how best to build trust with her, what is good things to do to try and build trust with a girl, I don't mean the trust you build over a lengthy RL, just initial trust and confidence? Secondly I have not seen a picture of her yet so would it be too soon to ask if she could IM me a picture of her - is it too soon to do that? 2011
Intricategirl Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 The way to build trust (in the short term) is to be trustworthy and to trust them. A good example is in the photo question you ask about- why ask for her photo. Offer yours instead. Second, I'd argue that this is not really trust. It's just laying the foundation for it to develop over time.

Fondue Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I haven't really dove into Online dating, but I would imagine that I'd be really skeptical of a person who doesn't have a picture up, or at least isn't going to offer you one after a few emails. That just seems shady to me. Maybe it's normal procedure though?
