WeedlerFeeder87 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Okay, I am about 2/3 the way through my first year of uni and there is a girl in about half of my lectures who i think is attractive. I want to go and talk to her somehow, but I can't think of how, because everybody has formed friend groups by now and none of my friends know hers (and people don't really ever talk to each other randomly, even if it is about work). Also I don't know her name and she isn't on our course group on facebook and there are over 200 people in our lectures. Has anybody got any ideas on what I should do in this situation?
Nexus One Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 You: Hi, I'm Supaman. What's your name? Her: I'm Supagal. You: *smile* Are you single? Her: Yes. You: I've noticed you around. Do you want to go on a date with me? Her: Yes/No/IDon'tKnow/I don't know you very well yet. Have a response ready for any of those answers she could give. That's a very direct approach. Use it at your own risk. You could also start with eye contact, so that she notices you notice her. Then perhaps smile in her direction and see if she smiles back.
Lil1 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Try sitting next to her or behind her and ask her a question about the lectures... then introduce yourself and tell her that you've seen her in some of your other classes. Then take it slow... next time you see her outside of class say hello (using her name) and move on from there. If she is attracted to you in any way (even as a friend) she will reciprocate easily and things will evolve naturally! Good luck!
