Hi,

I was just after some advice on a good approach to ask out this girl (shes Korean ) who works in a small Korean Convenience / Grocery Store. Ive been in a probably 4 or so times in the last month when shes been working and i wanted to ask her out. She smiles alot and seems very friendly ( nothing like the other Korean girls that work at this store ). I haven't really dated much (im 21) so i don't really know if shes interested or not but i want to give it a go anyway. The store is normally pretty empty so it could easily just be me and her in the store. I figured i should try to get her away from the Counter and have her help me pick some things out perhaps and ask her out then ?

I guess im just after some general advice on if that sounds like a good approach or not and if i should ask her on a date or for her phone number instead ? Sorry im a little lost lol.

And i guess if i get lucky and she says yes im not to sure whats a good first date , like what / where to ask her out to since i don't actually know her well enough to no of something she would be especially interested in.

Thank you for your help.

Andrew.

Ask her how she likes her eggs - cooked or fertilized ;)

Next time you go into the store, talk to her. Make her laugh, flirt a little, and check her response - does she seem interested? If so, then by all means ask her if she'd like to go out with you for dinner/drinks/coffee.

If she says no, don't take it personally. Some women of certain ethnicities are very westernized and are happy to date men from a different culture, while others are very close to their families and may only date within their own culture, or may even expect an arranged marriage.

Good luck :)

What you suggested would work; same with if you just went up to the counter well checking out and asked her out then. But you do have multiple options like the ones you said, and I think any could work. Why don't you just ask her if she'd like to go to dinner and the movies sometime with you, get her number and go from there? You could just have her choose the place so that you don't have to worry about whether or not she'll like it.
