joshextreme Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Me and my ex ended really it bad. It was me and her talking nice through text message and then she tells me shes texting 6 people and i got upset and told her how much I loved her and blah blah blah. It was a good 3 page text and at the end of it I said "text me whenever, i guess" all she said back was "alright, goodnight." As you can see it didn't end well for me. I can't figure out now if maybe I should try to go back and try to end it better? or should I just stick to NC? any advice is good advice
TryTryAgain Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Stick to NC. My last correspondence didn't end well with my ex either. I pondered over and over again after the fact and wished I would have said things differently. Nevertheless, I have maintained NC. My advice to you would be to write a letter to her and get everything out that you wish you would have said, BUT DO NOT SEND THE LETTER. Read it to yourself a few times, then delete it! I found this very therapuetic in the first few days of NC.

mr.goodguy Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Hey Josh, go no contact. But don't go NC to punish her. It's been said many times on here that NC is for YOU to improve yourself. If you improve yourself in all the right way, that will be punishment enough. Especially when another woman is hanging off your arm. I know it's hard not to be wrapped up with fresh emotions, but focus on yourself and be the greatest you can be. Also, it appears a lot of people on here have not been properly taught the art of the game. It might be worth checking out some dating shows on television that are aimed for women. It's great research in knowing what they are looking for...and better arm you for after you've improved yourself. Good luck!
