runner Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Even when my boyfriend has been working for hours and is covered in sweat and feels like he's at his worse, I am completely turned on with how he smells and looks. It's then that I feel that he's his most attractive and our chemistry is at it's highest, because it's all him and not his cologne or shampoo or body wash or anything else. Color me crazy, but it's just how I am. I don't know if everybody is like this with someone that they are crazy about, but I feel that if you need cologne or something else to boost the chemistry for you and this new dude, then it's just not going to work. What if you guys wake up one morning (or every morning), he leans in for a kiss, and you're reminded of his natural odor and aren't turned on by his kiss again? You just going to spray him with some cologne on the bedside table and hope for the best? This guy seems like he'd be a good friend for you, but boyfriend? Probably not. Chemistry is a must and you can't force it. i've got an experiment for all you LS'ers. don't shower within 5 hours of meeting your date (and don't go running either ). shower before that. i shall try this tomorrow !
Cracker Jack Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Yes. The good smell of a woman's odor is an intoxicating feeling for me.
Eeyore79 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I agree about the MHC thing - your nose tells you who you would produce healthy babies with, and you are attracted to the smell of those people. I've dated some nice people but not fallen madly in love or felt passionate about them - those I've felt passionate about are those who smelled right. My boyfriend smells amazing; breathing in his smell turns my knees to jelly.
angielove Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 My god yes, smell is very important!!! That is something I notice about guys right away - if they smell nice, I am turned on. Regardless of how they look. I love the smell of mens deodorant mixed with their sweat. Mmmmm just thinking about it now. My ex-boyfriend used to be a labourer. One day he came to my place after spending all day cutting down trees, and he was covered in dirt and leaves and sweat. I almost fainted I was so turned on haha I jumped him right then and there. My sister's boyfriend smells like an old person's house (kinda like moth balls mixed with something else) and I find that so repulsive
LeaningIntoTheMuse Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 If she wears bacon undies and scrambled egg bras, then yes. Tasty! (I know, bad joke!)
Jack & Coke Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Yes. The good smell of a woman's odor is an intoxicating feeling for me. Most definitely.
sumdude Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Absolutely! It has to be pheromones. My ex wife always made me batsh** horny with her scent. My ex GF is in a band with me. I can tell when she's ovulating because even across the stage her smell turns my brain into mush and other parts into steel! lol
IcyBabe Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Scent is such a great sense, I remember when I worked in the men's department at Macy's we had cologne samples at the register and I just loved smelling them throughout the day...doesn't quite compare to the smell of them ON a guy but still lovely lol. I could smell Blue by Ralph Lauren all day, it's like sex in a bottle
