This is the first guy that I'm excited about in a LONG time... we met online (really random) had had an instant connection. We eventually met up and things have been really good. We met about a month ago. Since then- he came with me to buy a car, he came over when I was sick and we've been out on dates and stuff. We haven't slept together yet but we've come pretty close... there is chemistry for sure. So since Sat- things have been off (sorta- just a feeling)- but I'm trying not to over-analyze things... however- i just noticed that he was online last week... so I was kinda confused because he referred to me as his girlfriend earlier... So I really want to talk to him- and tell him that I want an exclusive relationship. Obviously I want to do it in person but I'm not really how/when/what to say (or even if I should say it)? Any advice??!

Ask him out if you have to and say that you want to have a nice romantic date with him or something along those lines. You want to know how to say it? Here's a suggestion (go however way you feel most comfortable doing though): After dinner, or at your place after a movie, or whatever you do for your next date, ask him how he sees your relationship and what he thinks of it. Tell him that you're very into him and that you would love to take it to the next level of being exclusive. I'm assuming that by "online" you meant "online dating site" and if I'm right, then go ahead and tell him that you're going to not use yours any more, and would hope and love if he would do the same. Though, since you did say that things have been a little off for the past couple of days, mentally prepare yourself for the chance that he might not feel the same way, though I'm sure he does based off of everything else.
