Strength of Heart Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I initially deleted my ex a few days after the break up when I came upon a conversation of her and a co-worker talking about a date they went on and making sexual references. The next morning she texted me, explaining how they were playing a joke on their co-worker that they were dating, and that the kid is her brothers friend. I thanked her for confirming that, but I still have trouble believing someone could joke around like that with another guy right after a relationship of 2.5 years ended without their ACTUALLY being some affection and attraction that was going on between the two. Honestly, it sickened me and made me wonder if she had something for this guy before we broke up. He's the complete opposite of me too, making him the perfect rebound candidate. I added her after she apologized and stuff about the "Joke", only to later delete her after seeing a mobile upload on her wall of a drunk message from my ex to her best friend that displayed a bunch of drunken giberish and her saying "****" "****" "****" "**** me in the *******!" "Ahhh I'm so happy right now!". Also a comment from her best friend saying, jokingly, "I can never take you out in public again" and various former co-workers of mine asking her if she was alright jokingly (I'm assuming she got absolutely trashed and acted a bit insane). She's 18, definitely has a case of GIGS (Not every reason we broke up, but definitely the deciding factor), and I've definitely seen glimpses of her attention seeking behavior when I used to go out to places with her (She didn't drink back then). I love and care about the girl, I don't really judge her/resent her/hate her, but seeing that stuff was not fun and made me miss the old girl that I loved. Very depressing, but an eye opener as well.
