ConstantTurmoil Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 So I just want some opinions please.... Was out Friday night with a girlfriend to a club .....had fun..drinks, dance,etc.... A couple of guys asked me to dance that I wasn't really interested in and I was with my girlfriend so i turned them down. So pretty close to the end of the night some other random guy asks me to dance...I automatically say no thank you. But then I realized he is really cute (and has great body)! He went off and danced with another woman. Afterwards, he came back near me and was with some friends. He seemed to have a great personality too. So my girlfriend then wants to leave, so we leave. As we get outside i think, why not...write my number on a piece of paper and send my friend back in to find him. She gives it to him and explains who I am. She said he seemed happy. Now of course two days later and nothing. I mean I understand it could be a host of reasons....he has a girlfriend, is married and was just out with his friends, he is from out of town, etc. I am not normally this forward at all! And Saturday morning I'm thinking he just asked me to dance! He didn't ask me for my number! What was I thinking? I just wanted to see what people thought of this....was this too forward? creepy? or just too weird. My girl friends say even if he was single he wouldn't call...too awkward. My guy friends say of course he will call if he was genuinely inerested but asking someone to dance is not asking for a number/date either! Ugh! I don't think i will ever do this again...he was just so cute!
Cee Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 You made three epic mistakes in this situation... 1) Turning him down to dance 2) Not asking him to dance later when he was standing near you 3) Sending your girlfriend back to give him your number. Why on earth did you not talk to this man? You had ample opportunity to talk and flirt with him. You could have marched up to him, flirted with him, and gave him your number. I'm sure he was flattered you think he's cute. But he has nothing to go on to call you. He never had a chance to talk to you. Don't worry about making a fool of yourself. It's okay, but in the future, don't say no when someone cute comes your way.

He probably thinks you're in the 6th grade and your "do you like me? Check Yes or No" note was too immature for him. Seriously, what were you thinking sending your girlfriend in?
