TG4MJ Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) About a month ago, my ex and I got in a nasty arguement over my job. She got mad because it was low paying and generally miserable to the point that my misery was affecting her. She cussed me out, demanded that I quit my job and get a job at a certain call center that pays very well and is always giving out commissions and bonuses, then out of nowhere demanded that I not speak to her ever again. Well, she told me to quit my job and get another, and I wanted to prove to her that I would do anything for her, so I literally did exactly as she said. I figured as long as I did this things would go back to normal, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Friday, after completing my second to last week of training/transition, I decided to be bold and go to her and surprise her by letting her know that I am officially hired, assuming that she would be so astonished and impressed by the fact that I did exactly as I was told she would jump back into my arms and we'd both make a vow to never fight like this ever again. Like the dumb s**t I am, I assumed wrong. She was astonished that I would show up at her place all right, but not in the good way. Upon arrival, she simply reiterated how she remembered distinctly telling me not to speak to her anymore, and asked why it is that if she said this why was I on her doorstep. I was caught off guard because I honestly thought she'd just see the work badge and nice shirt and tie and be wooed by it, so when she started snarling at me I didn't know how to answer. She then basically proceeded to basically beat me up on her porch and had the audacity to call the police on me. So after getting roughed up by her, I was then roughed up by the pigs on the scene who automatically assumed that I'd somehow harmed her and was dangerous and what not. So much for the romantic outcome I had in mind . I was pretty sure I was gonna get arrested because I have a history with the police dept in this town but as it turns out I was in the clear, in fact they even said that while they could get me for tresspassing I could press assault charges on her, but that's not my thing so I declined and as consequently so did she. What an epic clusterf*** of events. I hoped to start off the weekend by sweeping my little white rose off her feet and starting all over. Instead I get to start it with a bruised and cut face and a headache from getting kicked and elbowed in the head so many times. So much for happy endings. Nice to know how rewarding being a good guy no matter what can be nowadays . PS - Oh, and try and not be jerks about the fact I got beaten senseless by a woman ok fellas? I may be tough but I respect women too much to ever raise a hand to one, even when they treat me like this. Deal with it ok ? Edited March 12, 2011 by TG4MJ
