Autu Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I'm going to try to keep this brief...Grandma was placed in hospice about a month ago and not given too much time left. I usually go up to see her 2-3 times a week. One of the nursing aides is very cute and I see her almost each time I am up there. Does anyone know if there is some sort of rule that keeps nurses / nursing aides from possibly dating a patient's family? I am assuming they can't directly date patients, which I understand, but I would see no issues with family. Also, any suggestions with possibly asking her out because I obviously don't want this to turn awkward. Thanks
utterer of lies Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 No opinions or suggestions? Just ask her out and see what happens...
anne1707 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Although do remember that due to the highly sensitive nature of working in a hospice, she may feel that it is inappropriate to date relatives (even if allowed) because she does not want to appear to be taking advantage of people when they may be emotionally vulnerable
