sweetpea00 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Im not really sure of what to do. I started dating my boyfriend in 2008 while we were both in college. He graduated that same year and moved 2 hours away. I am still in college and will be graduating in May. We have talked about engagement but nothing has happened. He just says that he is not ready. We have been dating for 3 years and I want some sort of change. Do you think that it is time for us to break up?.. Or should I keep hanging on and hoping that someday we will get engaged?
Beeotch Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 If he's not ready...he's not ready. Not being ready doesn't mean someone doesn't love you. Ask him about where he sees himself in the next 5 years and based on that I'd really just try to decipher, or have a conversation about where we see ourselves and what we want. If where you plan to be in the next 5 years isn't where you want to be then maybe you should break up...but if he simply isn't ready to be engaged at this minute, then no.
