turokturok5 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 So my ex dumped me 5 weeks ago, we we're eachothers first partners and we're 18 (i had a girlfriend of 8 months but i didn't actually consider her a girlfriend as she wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend, so i didn't meet her parents or go to her house or anything, so we weren't really attached) and she dumped me after 2 months. She told me she didn't feel the same anymore and that we weren't meant to be, also cried and said she really wanted to be friends, her friend told me she actually dumped me for being too clingy. After 1 month she came to my house with a group of friends whom we usually catch up with. At the time my sister had friends over too, my friends were up in the games room and i was sitting with my sister and her friends and talking. I see my ex walking through the garage at the corner of my eye, she stops, i look at her and say hi, she walks up and has that really "awkward" look on her face, she quietly says "hi" and i direct her to the games room. Few days later they come over again, i was on the phone and getting something out of my car at the front of my house when she was dropped off. Im speaking on the phone and say wait, call out hi to my ex and wave, she has the awkward look again, says hi back and i direct her to the games room again. In the time we spent in the games room playing pool she ; Looks at me and laughs/adds things to what i say when im speaking out aloud (eg, i said "i was playing with the heart" she said "eww you actually touched it!" and just little things like that, the example is to do with a cadaver at uni too ) - exept when i look back at her she looks away, she handed me a pool cue, i looked at her and said thank you, she stared at the floor and turned away, when she said bye, she looked around the room at everyone - exept the corner of the room i was in and at one stage i walked into the games room and heard her say to her friend "so did <my name> have fun at the club the other night?" Why is she acting like this, she told me she really wanted to be friends, she said things wouldn't be awkward between us. I deleted her off facebook last month, but re-added her 2 weeks ago because i only deleted her due to heartbreak/anger, she denied the request and continued to tell my friends that i was immature and she was pissed off. I don't see how this could have an impact though, because i didn't do it out of spite. Whats up with her, we didn't have a bad break-up, i guess you could say it ended on good terms - i stayed at her house for 2 hours and we just talked. I did tried to beg her to take me back though, but i apologized for it a week later.
