Hey guys I need some advice on a bit of a sticky situation...

I'll try to give you some background on the whole situation. I dated a guy for nearly a year. Let's call him "Joe". I liked him quite a bit, and soon was "in" with his circle of friends. He lives in a neighboorhood just outside of town and I used to spend a lot of time with them all. I thought things were moving forward, was planning on moving up there at some point, and I was hoping our relationship would wind up getting serious one day. Problem was that I have children and he's a single guy. Issues with my family were getting in the way with us spending time together and he ended it with me wanted to stay friends. Ok fine. No big deal.

Well let's just say it wasn't too long after that he was hooked up with his nextdoor neighbor (who was once a friend of mine) and now they are in a relationship. Super! Happy for him. She has no kids - obviously a better fit than me.

Last week things got weird as he started texting me all the time again. I didn't think anything of it at first.. and then things turned sexual. He has now been sexting me for a week. And I try to brush it off. I like his new girlfriend. I was really hurt when he ended it with me but life goes on. I'm not sure what I should do - do I tell his new girlfriend that he is texting me to try and hook up with me for sex??

You should tell him that if he doesnt stop texting you, you will tell his gf. if he doesnt stop, then you tell her.

Call him out on his behaviour and tell him if he still want to be friends with you, he'll have a little more respect to treat you like a friend.

Personally, this guy just sounds sleazy. Any guy who sexts other people while in a relationship tells me that they are capable of cheating. IF you are not someone who would stoop that low, you assert yourself and tell them what's on your mind.

Losing his friendship is not as important as keeping your integrity intact.

It's seriously making me question whether or not he was faithful to me while we were together. He was always a huge flirt - which I assumed was no big deal. And he always accused me of cheating as well when I was spending time WITH MY KIDS! Lol ...like really ...who am I sleeping with? Um - my 3 year old is currently in my bed now, thanks for asking... Aren't the biggest accusers the ones with guilty conciences? ..Just sayin...

But I hesistate to tell my former girlfriend - just because I've tried to do the "right thing" in the past and tell the truth and it usually came back to bite me in the end I lost both friends. The girl and the guy for opening my mouth. :/

Just ignore him and press charges if he keeps bothering you.
