Although once in a while...rare....you see an AMerican woman with a NONAmericanized latino guy, for example, a guy who is studying ESL and just came from mexico. I saw that one time.

But it's sooo rare. I've seen more of the other way around. ( AMerican guy with a foreign girl)

For the most part I see white girls with White guys OR any ethnicity but an Americanized guy.

Sometimes i see Foreign Asian girls with foreign guys from the ESL class or with American guys but again that's kinda rare...

As for Asian American women. I always see them with Asian guys who are Asian American OR with White/Hispanic/Black any kind but that are American. Again, i rarely see Asian American women with ..IN FAct i've never seen them with first generation hispanic guys who are ESL students.

So aside from very few Asian girls (from asia)who have dreams of marrying a Foreign guy or American guy when they come to America, for the most part all the American women and Asian American and black women etc.. seem to date/marry/want to date/ men from their own ethnicity or same nationality.

It's just my thought.

Anyways, i think of this often cause whenever i go to public places i see a bunch of foreigners and I'm attracted to them but I'm not from their race/culture/ethnicity so it feels there's no chance.

Even with Americans, I'm american but i feel there's no chance of an American girl liking me ever cause I don't talk and act like an americanized guy. i'm very different. i have an accent (even though i can't speak spanish well) and I don't do anything like typical Americans do.(even though i also dn't do anything that typical latinos do...cause i'm a rare breed)

Most of my friends were a little shocked that I married a white guy. My sister did the first time around, but her current hubby of 10yrs is hispanic - he's been here in the states for like 14 yrs now, and she dated him for like 2yrs before they got married...he learned a lot of his English while they were dating.

It's not the most common, depending on where you live, but in some parts of the country it's not all that rare either.

If you're American but kinda not...then it would be eaiser for you to adapt to another culture, if you show an interest in her culture she will probably like that.

Well I can only speak for my gf and myself. We both happen to be from thecsame country, although it was just coincidence that we got together. Before her I was looking to be with almost anyone hot, and she didn't mind nationalities either.

However now that we have been together a while I'm finding I appreciate that we have the same culture / history. I think I'm happier with her than if I'd gotten a typical Aussie girl.

Dude a good girl is gona like u for u, they wont care bout somethin so supaficial as the country on ur passport. Its probly jus the ppl u roll with, like, who u get to meet on a daily basis, so if u live in a latino area u probly gona end up meetin more latinos so u probly gona end up with a latino. If u go to some college with all foreign students u probly gona end up hookin up with a foreign student.

Well I can't speak for "most women", but in my experience the answer to your question is no.

I'm black and I've dated outside of my race numerous times. As have my female friends (all different races). It's actually never occurred to us *not* to. Might have something to do with living in a huge city but I've never thought twice about it. <<shrugs>>

i think it would be helpful to get rid of the slashes. dating by itself can imply a number of things, whereas marriage is a specific goal. second, ethnicity is an individual's deeply rooted identity whereas culture is a shared system of values (among other things) in a community.

that said, i've typically observed like-for-like in long term relationships, and not so strongly for the short term; mind you, with various exceptions all over the place. so i'd caution not to get too carried away with the absolutes in answering this thread.

In my opinion yes. I'm a black man who is mostly attracted to white women and women of other races. Although there are alot of white women with black men and Latino men, it doesn't seem to be a whole lot of them attracted to me. So I would say yes.

In my area about 5-15% of the white female population exclusively dates black men. They seem to like them rich and physically flawless.

Black women and asian men get treated like they are radioactive.

Immigrant Latino men struggle with white women because of simple economics. They don't make enough money on average.

Lets face it, Most women would rather be with another woman than with a man.

Most women? I don't know where you're from...but that's a terribly inaccurate generalization...just FYI...unless of course you're just trying to get a rise with that comment...in which case you already know you're wrong.
