MrNate Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I am sorry but I have to disagree. No matter how hot the girl or how tight the body cellulite is nasty. I wouldnt sleep with a girl with cellulite much less date one. Really? I would assume most women produce this naturally, so I find nothing wrong with it. It also adds a certain jiggle that just makes me
daphne Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 When I was a size 0 at 102 pounds, I still had a little bit of cellulite. At size 2 and working out 4-5 times a week, I am tone all over and am working on getting a girl 6 pack. I still have a little cellulite. I have the least amount I've ever seen, and have never seen one without (in a bikini.)

What I'm finding interesting is that she said it's only noticeable really in a certain lighting. That's a bit over the top I think. That's why I asked the OP who are they comparing themselves to? What particular prototype are they going by?
daphne Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 What particular prototype are they going by? My guess is an airbrushed one.

And it's more about the dieting than the exercise.
carhill Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Just curious what men think. Loved every inch of the woman I was married to for a decade until I stopped loving her, something that had nothing to do with her cellulite or any other part of her physicality. She's probably in better shape today than I ever knew her as, but I could care less. One datapoint.

I know this petite little blond at the gym. Hot little thing. I got to know her better, and realized she's a raging bitch. She's miserable, so she makes everyone around her miserable. Everyone hate her. Not so much hot little thing anymore. Every time I see her now, I just see the bitch. Can't help it. She's no longer attractive to me.
LittleTiger Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 OMG! Some of the threads on this section of the forums are just ridiculous. When will you guys realise that there is more to people, and more to sexual attraction than physical perfection? Seriously - who wants a man that expects a woman's body to look like a very tall 10 year old's with breasts? Women are women - they have cellulite, stretch marks, wobbly thighs and, in most cases, past the age of 35 or after childbirth, breasts that no longer point upwards. If you want, or expect, a woman to look like a child then there's something very wrong with you. I couldn't be bothered reading all posts but @ Mr Nate and @ Carhill If there are any other guys who's said something similar then here's one for you too . I do wish there were more men like you on LS. Personally I love men and I think we need a much better representation of guys like you who also love and accept women for being women. Maybe then there would be less of this 'warring of the genders' that's creeping in nowadays. I used to work with women who have severely impaired body image and, reading some of the replies here, it's no surprise where they get it from. To the guy who said he wouldn't even date a woman with cellulite - really? What do you do, ask her to undress and inspect her under a lamp before agreeing to meet her? I think you said you don't date actually, you just 'sh*g' and go - what happens if you've got her to remove her clothes for the big event and you spot a bit of cellulite? Do you tell her to get dressed 'cos you can't get it up?!!! Somehow I doubt it.

fishtaco Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I used to work with women who have severely impaired body image and, reading some of the replies here, it's no surprise where they get it from. Well, if you glance through the thread again, actually most guys responded by saying they don't particularly care. There are a few like cutecatcher, that somehow expect women to look like they're airbrushed (did you get that? my play on cutecatch's user name? Yes, subtle comedy but that's how I work sometimes). Also, women rip into other women about their looks WAAAAY more then men. "Maybe you should try shopping at bloomies" is not an insult used by men, or directed at men. That's all you ladies. We just like to see skin. So don't blame men for women's obsession with physical appearance. Those fancy leopard print pumps aren't for us. They are for other women. While men cannot shake the responsibility, women aren't exactly innocent either.

Ruby Slippers Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Most women have at least a little bit of cellulite. In high school, I spent at least 4 hours a day working out, was in tip top condition, and still had a little bit on the backs of my legs. Some celeb pics: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1265676/Britney-Spears-releases-airbrushed-images-digitally-altered-versions.html http://kimkardashiancellulite.org/kim-kardashian-cellulite-before-and-after/ http://www.skinnyvscurvy.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/sophie-monk-front-and-back-with-a-hint-of-cellulite.jpg http://girlstalkinsmack.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/mischa1.jpg http://girlstalkinsmack.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/lady-g-cellulite-250.jpg http://girlstalkinsmack.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/eva_longoria_450.jpg http://girlstalkinsmack.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/jennifer-love-hewitt-bikini-1-02-682x1024.jpg http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/3310/karolinakurkovacellulitzu0.jpg

Knittress Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 To be honest, I wasn't even positive what cellulite WAS since it just seemed to be what a normal leg looked like. Because it is.
starryeyed12 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I think those pictures are great! Sometimes we need a dose of reality to realize that all those so called "perfect" women are human. Thanks for sharing.
SpinScratch Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 i am probably in the minority here. but if a girls body looks good with her clothes on, i dont care if shes got stretch marks or cellulite underneath. doesnt bother me one bit. i could even go so far as to say cellulite could be a turn ON:D
