I am dating this wonderful girl. I called her one day after the first date to tell her I had a beautiful evening with her and I can't wait to see her again. She is a very shy girl so she can only say "Me too." or "Same here." and then she goes all quiet with such things.

Then I wanted to tease her a little and said "Come on, do not be shy. I know you are blushing right now!" in a cute voice but she did not give any response. Then we had to say bye because I was running out of credits so the call ended in a weird mood.

Now I am asking myself, "Did I go too hard on her?". I generally do this teasing thing with the girls I like and it is a way of my flirting but what are the chances that she took it the wrong way? I do not want to hurt or scare her. What is the best way to go with very shy girls?

Ask deep, probing questions that can't be answered in a word or two. That way, you find out where her buttons are.

IMO if that was "too hard" or too much, then she has issues. I think you did ok and you were basically just flirting.
