guitar23 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Just curious. What is the longest period of time you all have dated someone without the "what are we?" or "exclusive" talk?
purplehouse Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 (edited) 3 months for me. Started dating October (acted like a couple for the whole time and became official First week of January) This was in 2009-2010. Most my relationships start that way though, things just naturally progress into a relationship and then we realise hey we are a couple..lol Edited March 5, 2011 by purplehouse more descriptive
somedude81 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 LOL, my longest "relationship" was two weeks....
P&R Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 4 months is the longest time I dated somebody before being exclusive.
somedude81 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 D'oh, I missed the "before the exclusive talk part." Well I've never had that talk
Tayla Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Social hanging out is different then dating for intent to be intimate at some point. I dont have the "talk" per se. I have the "Can you define what we are ?" , which oddly sends them running....Seems some are challenged with a simple question....
P&R Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Yes asking her to lose weight like you are is wrong. However asking her to clean and cook is alright. She at least owes you that for taking her in.
Author guitar23 Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 Interesting. Perhaps this should be a new thread, but I was particularly interested in the response about dating with the intent to be intimate and social hanging out that Tayla referred to. How do you define the difference? More one on one time with the dating as opposed to just meeting up/hanging out with groups with the social hanging out?
