Then he defended me some more, but what i dont understand is why he LIES to me about it. I asked him about it, he said she bothered him and that he never answered, but thats a lie because i saw their conversation in his emails (he left it open on the computer) I just dont understand why he lies about it.

There are two possibilities. Well, there are several but I should say two possibilities in my thought. 1. He did not tell you because he thought it would hurt you. 2. He thought telling you might cause a fight or make you suspicious of him. Look, lying is not okay to do but sometimes people resort to it without thinking through the consequences. E.g. breaking trust, making themselves look guilty of something, etc. I will say I did find it slightly suspicious though, that it was left out for you to see.
