My ex breaks up with me out of nowhere a week ago. The relationship is going good but we hadn't seen each other for about three weeks. She starts to act weird towards me and then finally breaks down and ends it. We texted and talked that night and the day after but I couldn't get through to her. She couldn't give me a reason for the break and said I was the best guy and that she still loved me. Well I gave up trying to talk to her so i went No Contact.

Then she changes her relationship status on facebook (no surprise here, it was over, this didn't bother me) and sends me this message.

"Im so sorry the facebook thing is stupid. I hope you're doing well. I'm always here for you"

I don't understand what she wants from me. I feel like this is bothering her more than me. Is this normal? I was doing fine with no contact but then I get this message. Any insight?

Maintain NC, and don't rise to the bait.

Engage in any discussion with her, and you're mincemeat, through the blender again.

Cause she just realized that changing her FB status from in a relationship to single, to her, it's like publicly putting the nails in the coffin. She publicly saying that's it's over and it stung her, so she automatically thought it stung you.
